The little ones always love to have fun with colours. That too, palm print & finger print activity provides lots of colours and fun for kids as they explore the world of colours. It is a powerful form of communication which is irreplaceable.

The kids of Sri Gopal Naidu Children’s Play School celebrated “ Festival of colours” on July 20th. Under the supervision of their teachers, the tiny tots splattered their hands in various colourful paints and imprinted their palms in chart and paper plates. The little ones also helped their teachers to decorate the classroom with colourful balloons, their craft work, charts etc.,

They enjoyed and learnt the identification of different colours through the ‘ print and learn ‘ activity. The day’s enjoyment continued as the teachers narrated stories, sung and danced with their kids.

Friendship Day has come to be celebrated in a big way in India. The noble idea of honouring friends and friendship has really caught on with the kids and the day is celebrated enthusiastically by all the age groups, all over the world.

From the tiniest giggles to the grandest play mates, from the excitement of seeing a friend to the empathy, the power of friendship extends when their buddy feels down and try to be compassionate as a thoughtful friend.

To know and understand that Friends play an important role in our lives and to create a strong bond between the children, Students of Sri Gopal Naidu Children’s School celebrated Friendship Day on August 7th with their teachers and friends by exchanging their hand made cards and bands. The teacher shared the views about the celebration of the day by explaining the magic of friendship that make a child

The day brought the smiles on the toddler’s faces and joy to hearts.

The mark of Guru Purnima is simplicity, showering the teachers with gratitude and being sincere towards their studies is the best way to truly celebrate this day. As the same the students of Sri Gopal Naidu Children's school organised a program, the day to honour their teachers by promising to be sincere with their learning process. The program was curated and executed entirely by the students by singing songs and reciting slokas to the tunes to show gratitude to their teachers. Everybody was overwhelmed by the heart-touching gestures and performances of the students. All the kids greeted and showed their love to their affectionate teachers with colourful cards and charts. All the teachers blessed them wholeheartedly to become and be a good human being in their life. Principal Mrs. K. Vidhya at the end of the program congratulated the students for executing the entire program so well.She also appreciated the teachers for their hard work and dedication in their service in shaping the young minds to become a powerful citizens of our country.

July 15th a day to remember the great leader who made a difference in the lives of children through his initiatives of building schools and providing food for all.

The former chief minister of Tamilnadu, Shri. K. Kamarajar’s 121st birth anniversary has been observed as Tamilnadu’s Educational Development Day in Sri Gopal Naidu Children’s School. Keeping his views and contributions in mind, his birthday was celebrated with special assemblies and presentations of school students. It was a day with great pomp and show.

The Principal of the school, Mrs. Vidhya and the students paid floral tribute to his portrait and started the programme. The students involved themselves and participated in various events such as Speech - about the great leader, reciting poetry, singing songs, poster making, highlighting his wordings in charts, dancing to patriotic song etc., The principal also explained the reason behind the celebration of a simple man’s birthday with love, joy and respect.

The participants were appreciated with a surprise gift. The children enjoyed the celebration with an information “EDUCATION IS THE KEY TO UNLOCK THE GOLDEN DOOR OF FREEDOM” and by saying thanks to Kamarajar Aiya.

Tiny tots of Sri Gopal Naidu Children’s School celebrated the birth of Lord Krishna, the eighth avatar of Vishnu in a traditional fervor. The school was decorated with flowers, Kolams and the art of the kids. An idol of Lord Krishna was placed and well decorated with flowers. The tiny tots of Kinder Garten were dressed as Little Krishnas and Radhas.

A special puja was performed by the staff and children. Fragrance of flowers, soothing aroma of butter and prasadams and jingle of the bells filled the air. The aura of divinity graced the celebration as the kitties of Class 3 made beautiful craft items like Krishna crowns, flutes, etc., Aarti, bhajans, songs were recited by the kids and the staff.

Later the tots danced with their pretty attires enchanting their songs signifying the message of celebration that to promote brotherhood and encouraging good will. The celebration was as the day of joy and jubilation heralding the birth of Lord Krishna in Brindavan.

Sri Gopal Naidu Children’s School kutties made the campus joy and colourful with vibrant Onam celebration. The display boards and the stage were decorated with the tiny tots hand crafts and art.

Their joyful participation showed their bonds with traditions, nurturing creativity and unity. The children and the teachers were dressed with the kerala’s traditional attire. A few tots were in the attire of Maha Vishnu, his avatar – Vamanan and as King Mahabali. The students of class 4 & 5 welcomed them with their colourful AtthiPoo Kolam. They shared their moments through speech, songs, dance, reciting slokas etc.,

Through their joyful participation, children learnt the essence of togetherness and the beauty of cultural heritage.

The Principal appreciated the participants with story books & pencils. She also applauded the incharge teachers for their effort to unite the celebration in well – organized manner.

Co-curricular activities are extensions of academic activities and have a potential of developing the intellect of a student and the overall personality of the child to face the undaunted task and turbulent world of future. Intra House and State Level competitions are organized from time to time.

School Day Competition of this academic year started at Sri Gopal Naidu Nursery and Primary school with zeal & enthusiasm. The students were given unique topics for each classes such as Brain Gym, Olympiad Tester, Legible Hands, Test your Mettle, Picture Story & Barbie Dress Making. All the Kutties from Kindergarten to Class 5 took part & showcased their skills.

The main aim of conducting competitions is to make the students fit for the future time and to develop a sense of competitive spirit as well as to provide a backdrop for the development of their creative talent.

The school believes that participation helps to teach real world skills that encourage lifelong interests which lead us on the road to become productive and successful.

Competitions are always a good thing that focuses us to do the best. AGARAM Foundation announced the State Level Competitions for schools to encourage and enhance the critical thinking of every child in organizing thoughts and improve their communication skills. Many schools participated on different topics. It was organized and conducted in their school premises on July 15th. There was a great response. Nearly 430 students from Sri Gopal Naidu Children’s school took part in various events, such as Handwriting, Essay writing, drawing etc., The children had an enjoyable time and expressed their imagination and expressive skills through drawing and writing. The results will be announced on August 15th and the winners will be appreciated on the special day.

Chinmaya Mission conducted Bhagavad Gita Chanting competition at our school. Class 5 students took initiative to learn the verses and memorize it. And the teachers were surprised to see the kids presented and recited it with a correct pronunciation.

The children came to know that learning Bhagavat Gita – ‘ is the handbook for everyday living ‘.

The competitions about Bhagavat Gita help kids to

• develop positive thoughts
• practice self – control and selflessness

The important thing that is needed now- a- days and to teach the kids to develop their will power which can be done only through reading and knowing about our holy books.

To bring smile on Children’s faces encouraging their creative potential among them – Rangotsav Celebration from Mumbai organized National Level competitions in our school campus on various interesting topics such as Handwriting, Colouring, Greeting Card Making, Cartoon Making, Sketching Etc.,

The children in huge numbers took part enthusiastically and tried to bring out their artistic and creative potential by expressing their thoughts through art and colour, craft work and handwriting.

The highlight and unexpected twist is that more than 700 students from KG to Class 5 participated to exhibit their hidden talents. The hand skills were sent for the final selection to Mumbai. The winners will be announced later by the panel of judges.

“ Drawing & Handwriting are an art form that uses ink and brush to express the very souls of words on paper”.

State Level Handwriting and Drawing competitions was organized by TALENTINA Trust and Sri Gopal Naidu Children’s School took an initiative and to conduct it for the classes 1 to 5 in the school premises. Nearly 500 students participated with extraordinary zeal and enthusiasm. The purpose of this competition was to improve presentation skills and to inculcate the habit of good handwriting and to prompt the little artistic skills which have declined due to growing interest in computers and smart phones.

The Principal extended her wishes to the participants and also enunciated upon the fact that competitions play a vital role in shaping the young minds to build their own sanctuary in every facet of their lives.

The winners will be announced by the TALENTINA trust on July 15 and they will be appreciated with prizes and certificates.

To ignite the creative side of the children’s mind, they should be guided and given freedom to transform their imagination to blossom to its full potential. With this in mind, Trends – Coimbatore organized ‘Kids Drawing Contest to the school children from Class 1 to 5. ‘My super hero ‘is the topic. It was conducted and held at Sri Gopal Naidu Children’s School on July 21st. There was a zealous participation with 600 students.

The kids expressed their feelings by drawings – telling that their ‘Father and mother ‘are their Super Heroes. Really it was a heart touching moment for all. The children had fun by blending their thoughts and expressions through their little doodle art.

The results will be announced later by the Trends nominated team.

Healthy competition kindles the skills and it contributes to the growth of students which inspires them to become achievers in future. Considering the scenario, apart from external competitions, Sri Gopal Naidu Children’s School conducts inter class competitions every month on various interesting and motivating topics.

October month competitions were held on Wednesday in the school campus on the following topics- Shapes Match , Find your Moniker ,Word Illustration , Hopes ‘n’ Dreams , Event Sequencing, My Fairy Garden & Tamil elocution on the topic My Ambition. The teachers motivated and ignited the fire among the students to put forth their best effort and to win prizes in the competition. A panel of judges were allotted to select the best out of the contestants. The winners will be announced later in the forthcoming assembly.

Kavya Sri won first place, Yuvadharani bagged third place in Back Bending Category, whereas Navin & Shylesh shared fourth place. Other students were appreciated with certificates & medals. The school was honoured with ‘Honour Of Participation ‘ award.

A dazzling burst of colours and epic characters came to life @ SGNCS as our young stars participated in the much awaited ‘RAMAYANA SAGA ‘ Fancy dress competition held on 24th Jan 2024.

The competition was conducted from KG to Class 3. The children in the Ramayana Characters looked pretty charm. They introduced their characters in their cute and innocent voices.

Nearly 350 students took part in the competition. Among them the best performers from each sections were selected and the prizes were distributed by the correspondent Shri. Ravi Sam.

All the participants were appreciated with participation certificates.

The purpose of the competition was to learn about the life of Lord Rama and the characters of Ramayana. The school was felt blissful and blessed with the name of Jai Shree Ram overall the programme.

The Correspondent and the Principal praised the parents and the teachers for their initiative taken to be a part of imparting our EPIC among our young generations.

Inter class competitions provide an invaluable platform to develop intellect and the overall personality of the child to face the undaunted task a turbulent world of future. To engage the students and foster a healthy sense of competitions among students , Sri Gopal Naidu Children’s School conducted School Day competitions for all the classes on the topics- ‘ Listen & Pick ‘ , ‘ Picture Talk ‘ for LKG & UKG, Class 1 & 2 participated in ‘ Rhythmic Math ‘ , ‘ Dot to Dot ‘. The children of Classes 3, 4 & 5 enthusiastically took part in ‘Stick Puppet’ , ‘Extempore’ and ‘Design Boot Camp’. The topics for the competitions aren’t just about knowing the facts and information, it is to train the students to use it in real world settings. The highlight topics were for Class 3 , 4,& 5 where all the students showcased their skills to their best – No wonders it develops a hunger to conquer the greater challenges and the school believes that competitions gives students an appetite for improvement and success. Their works were displayed on the school notice board and the Class 5 students experiments were showcased for the parents in the campus. All the students were appreciated by the Principal for the effort taken to spectacle their skills.

Overall the students enjoyed their day by displaying their talents and skills. The winners of the competitions will be announce on the upcoming special days.

Independence Day celebration kicked off with full of excitement and enthusiasm. Little ones of class 1 to 5 took part in various activities and competitions held at our campus. Each children focused to expose their skills in displaying their creativity, such as Painting ️, wrist band making, badges making, logo designing ️etc.,

Kutties learnt the importance of freedom & the representation of colours in our national flag.

Our SGNCS kiddos turned into birds and projected their perception about birds, their nests via their adoring appearance & speech. Our buddies also have raised their voice to save birds & trees, they also opened their feathers to show up healthy living and existence of life on the earth. It was indeed a fun filled, relaxing and thoughtful day to the KG Students and teachers.

Our Sri Gopal Naidu School (Play) nestlings greeted & welcomed beloved Principal mam with their lovely wishes & music. They started the day with playing multiple rhythm by taping the utensils.

Our energetic chicks have brought heaven to our campus through their music.

They carried their preferent handmade & toy musical instruments, compose their own music & sung their best loved rhymes. The kiddos received teacher’s handmade blower and they made their day.

SGNCS celebrated Teachers’ Day with great fervor and enthusiasm on September 5, honoring the selfless dedication and hard work of its teaching staff. The event was organized by the students, who took the opportunity to express their gratitude and love for their mentors. Students showered love and appreciation on their mentors, marking Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan's birthday.

The celebration began with a special assembly, where students presented songs, poems and speeches highlighting the importance of teachers in their lives. The incharge teacher, addressed the gathering, emphasizing the significance of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan's birthday, which is celebrated as Teachers' Day nationwide.

Mahatma Gandhi Trust conducted ‘Teachers day’ competitions for the students last month and the winners were announced on the special day and prizes were distributed to the winners . The Principal appreciated the participants and the winners.

Students then presented handmade cards, flowers, bouquets and posters to their teachers, thanking them for their guidance and support. The teachers, overwhelmed with emotion, expressed their appreciation for the thoughtful gestures.

This celebration is a reminder of the trust and faith our students have in teachers. Who are committed to continuing our best efforts.

First AID -PEER Basic ALERT workshop program was organised & conducted @ Sri Gopal Naidu Nursery School for Teachers , Hygiene 1 & 2 , students. Mr.Karthick Venkatesan, Manager - Trainer & Public Affairs ALERT NGO - explained about the importance of the Golden hour, Good Samaritan Law & vitals of Human body (CAB) & the way to use it during emergency.

The faculties & the students enjoyed the session and learnt about FIRST AID. Really it created an awareness about the Golden Hour and the importance of human lives. He also briefed the rewards for the good Samaritan given by the State and Central governments.

It's was an eye opening program to all the staff.

The Principal appreciated the guest speaker & congratulated him for efforts taken so far.

All the staff thanked the management for this wonderful and informative session.

Sri Gopal Naidu Children’s School management provides alternative educational opportunities for children through the choice of “Do & Learn “activities. The Upper KinderGarten buds of the school engaged themselves in helping their beloved teachers to set up a MODEL FARM HOUSE in the school campus and they had been a part of the exhibit. Lower KinderGarten visited the farm and were happy to see the farm animals like goats, cows, hens etc., The kids dressed up as farmers and explained the visitors about gardening, farming and the habitats of farm animals. They also had a fun and enjoyed by singing, dancing and making sounds like the farm animals. Really, the model farm house made the children to understand and explore the concept of the day and it had been an awesome experience for all. The special day ended with the kids drawings about their visit to their model farm house and their artistic skills surprised all the teachers and parents. Their doodle arts were displayed on the class soft boards and in the corridors notice boards. The parents were stunned of their kutties skills and appreciated the principal and the teachers for the effort taken in engaging the kids in the activity. The tiny tots of KG also actively engaged in hand on – activities with their little fingers as prints in charts and in decorating their classes.

The new academic year has begun with an informative programme at Sri Gopal Naidu Children’s Nursery and Primary School. . As the continuation of the last year, special assembly was conducted on Monday at the school campus and the students were explained about KUTTY COPS with various pictures & colourful charts . All the students in the school along with the teachers took Kutty Cops Oath saying that all will follow the rules on the road. As a part of it, to spread awareness among the parents too, the students of Class 5 prepared their colourful pamphlets with catchy words & slogans insisting the importance of wearing helmet. Seatbelt etc., The kutties enthusiastically participated in the programme and the pamphlets were given to the parents briefing the significance of following traffic signals, signs and rules on the road and requested them to follow the same. The charts and the slogans made by the kids were displayed on the notice board. The parents appreciated and applauded the effort taken by the Principal and the students to ensure the safety of the people .

After the introduction of Kutty Cops in schools, students became more responsible in educating their parents about safety rules on roads. As a part of the awareness programme, Sri Gopal Naidu Children’s School takes initiative to preach the rules through various forms, such as songs, preparing pamplets, etc., This week they conducted a special assembly at school with the cognizance programme on the topic – Awareness with Thirukkural Couplets. With the help of the teachers, the students of Class 5 presented in a thought – provoking manner. They enthusiastically took part by preparing charts with Thiruvalluvar’s Thirukkural and they changed it into road safety Kural and its meaning was explained in Tamil with the Bharathanatiyam Abinayam. The concept of the programme was very inspiring and informative, explaining that the discipline on roads, the importance of wearing helmet for our lives and the traffic rules to be followed on roads. The programme is uploaded in school YouTube, Insta and Facebook. The principal appreciated the efforts taken by the teachers and the students.

UYIR -Kutty Cops is a special educational program to illuminate young school children about the road safety. The schools over the district conducts various events in their schools related to road safety. As a part of it, Sri Gopal Naidu Children’s School arranged for a special assembly on July 27th .

“Always music gives wings to the heart and takes it to the world of joy in everyone’s life”.

Thinking ahead, with the support of the teachers the children of Class 3 wrote the lyrics and mixed with cine tunes and sang soulfully. The lyrics and the innocent voices touched everyone’s heart and mesmerized all. All the students from LKG to Class 5 started to murmur the songs, the whole day. Hope the concept of the awareness song would reach parents and public that to wear helmet, seat belt, causes of the accidents and how to protect our lives. The awareness through songs pulled out the heart strings of all.

Kutty Cops – to inculcate the importance of road safety awareness in young impressionable minds, Sri Gopal Naidu Children’s School organizes weekly programme with myriad activities to conduct their surroundings more responsibly on the road.

As a part of the programme, the students of Class 4, with the guidance of the teachers prepared charts and placards on the topic Pros & Cons of abiding the speed limit on roads. The Kutty Cops of Class 4 insisted their friends to be a part of the initiative by asking their parents to keep within the speed limit while driving the vehicle for the safety of their family. Apart from this, a group of Kutties along with their parents took an oath that they will follow all the traffic etiquettes such as lane discipline, wear helmet, seat belt etc., A photo was also clicked and it is posted in school websites, Kutty Cops groups and other media of the school.

“Every house cannot have a policeman but every home has children “. If the children become the cop at home, the parents voluntarily start to adopt themselves to follow the road rules.

To ensure the safety of the parents and elders in the family many in-campus activities are conducted at Sri Gopal Naidu Children’s School every week.

Highlighting the aspects of the project,the dynamic kutty cops of Class 4 promoted alterness program via – VILLUPATTU insisting and stating the importance of following road rules and the values of lives to their families.

The lyrics were written and practice were given by the teachers. Really the Kutty Cops presented clearly and in an effective way. The Principal appreciated the effort put on to spread awareness as being a responsible citizen.

The programme was uploaded in school Insta, facebook and YouTube for the public consciousness about road safety.

Kutty Cops of class 3, briefed the traffic signs with a bunch of symbols – mandatory, cautionary and informatory signs and explained what each sign means and how to act when we encounter them on the road.

Children were mesmerized in doing paper folding activity. Teachers guided them to make their favourite animal Dog with the colour papers of their choice. They also taught them with to do by themselves with simple step by step instructions.

The children learnt the colours, sounds of dogs and pups, and paper folding craft.

The age to celebrate and learn about friendship – an excellent activity for this month – UNITED WE STAND, DIVIDED WE FALL.

Kids enjoyed learning the various places of worship by visiting the models displayed in the school. They also learnt the values of those places and how to respect each other.

The tiny tots spoke about the places and the holy books of our country. The kids were dressed beautifully and looked pretty in their cultural attire.

Teachers insisted the kids to be united and be as friends forever through songs, stories etc.,

To make the kids chill and learn something new, Sri Gopal Naidu Children’s School conducts different activities every month and for this month – No Bag Day – Take Away Activity organized and conducted for the Lower Kindergarten. ‘ While incidental learning of colours is great, it’s also a topic that heaps of fun is there to explore.’ Yes, the kids all had an opportunity to reinforce colour identification by doing paper craft rainbow activity. With the help of teachers, they had a fun in cutting and pasting the colour papers in clouds. The motive of the activity is to help and support hand eye coordination skills for fine motor tasks like pencil colourful & dexterity.

The Red Colour Day was celebrated as a scintillating day with innocent faces gleaming and reflecting brightness, joy, love and happiness. The tiny tots were looked pretty in their red colour attires.

The celebration was a wonderful activity helped the little ones to sort and classify objects based on colours there by reinforcing cognitive skills.

The class was decorated with all red colour hangings and the little ones were very amused and happy by seeing red hangings.

The buds took a juicy break and unleashed their artistic side with a fun paper pasting activity. As they say, ‘An apple a day keeps the boredom away’. The day allowed the children to learn about colours, make friends and boosts their creativity and imagination. The celebration is to develop social skills among themselves and to foster a love for learning new things.

The kids sang ‘Red Day ‘song – Apples are red …. Roses are red . And the day passed by creating a love and happiness among the little innocent faces.

Overall, it was a fun and everlasting learning experience for the buds.

As a part of No Bag Day – Sri Gopal Naidu Children’s School organized and put upon a topic ‘ To the Market ‘. The children of Upper Kindergarten helped their teachers by bringing their favourite fruits and veggies to setup ‘ SGNCS Weekend Market ‘ in the school premises. . The classroom was decorated and hanged with colourful fruits and vegetables chart done by the kutties. The pictures depicted the ‘Healthy Eating Habits ‘ and its importance. The structure of the setup enthralled the kids by vibrant colours. Few children were dressed up as vendors and few as buyers. They were experiencing the market using the paper currency.

The objective was to acquaint the kutties to learn the importance of eating fruits and veggies, buying and selling things, cost of their favourites and make them feel the ambience of the market. It was an immense joy seeing the blooming buds enjoy & learn at the same time.

14th Inter School Athlete Meet organized by Universal School of Sports and held at Chinnavedampatti TKS School on July 8th . 1500 students from various schools from the district took part in various events,such as 75 mts running, 1000 mts running, long jump, Base ball throw etc., To expand the horizon into the sports arena, Sri Gopal Naidu Children’s school participated with 250 students and took part in all the events. They proved as a “ Never Giving Up Team “ with a fighting spirit ignited with themselves and they were declared as the Champions of 2023 and received the overall championship trophy from the Chief Guest Thiru Kumaragurubara swamigal . They bagged with 5 Gold medal 11 Silver medals & 19 bronze medals. Indeed it was a proud moment to cherish. All the participants received certificates and they were appreciated in the assembly. The Principal of the school congratulated the physical trainer and the students for their efforts puton to receive the championship.

World Silambam Sports Association and Kovai South District Organized and Conducted District Level Silambam Sports Championship held at Vivekanada Kalvi Nilayam Matric School,Pallapalaym,Coimbatore Dt.,

Sanjana .K and Mithush .S.B of Class 5 Participated in the event of Single Stick and bagged First and Third Prize.

International Yoga and Music Day was celebrated in Sri Gopal Naidu Children’s school by the teachers and students on June 21st with great fervor. A special assembly session was conducted and the entire school participated by performing simple asanas that improves concentration & strengthen the mind and body. The children of class 5 performed various asanas guided by the teachers. The teacher emphasized that one who performs yoga regularly is set to achieve their goals without any anxiety and stress.

As a part of Music Day, the students of class 4&5 performed the songs guided by the school music teacher.

Music plays a vital role in overall development of the kids- keeping this view in mind, the school has created an awareness among children about the importance of music in daily life.

The students of class 3,4,5 made charts depicting the position of asanas and pictures of different musical instruments. They were displayed on the notice board.

To sum up, the celebration lifted the students spirit with immense joy and their exhilaration was commendable

SGNCS not only concentrate in academic but also in extracurricular activities. Various Sports Events Conducted in Our school from LKG to V std and Our students bagged three prizes in each section and the trophies were distributed to them .

Rangotsav Conducted various competitions like drawing,Handwriting etc., and our students won 90 Gold,Silver ,Bronze medals and special prize along with the certificates and it was a beautiful moment to see our children with the smile and the prizes in their hands.
